Four things to read.
They share one source. Change a shot in the plan and it changes in the workbook and on the production sheet at the same time.
Campaign creative direction
The line, the copy vocabulary, the three stories and where they meet, the key art, the palette, the lens vocabulary, wardrobe and delivery formats. Start here if you want to know what the pictures are going to feel like.
Thirteen-day shoot plan
Every approved line on the client shot list placed on a day and an hour, with direction on each setup: who does what, what is in frame, how it is lit, what food and staff it needs, and what to leave out. Includes the pick-up bank and what we need from Sonesta before we arrive.
Production sheet
The four days with talent. Call times, wrap times, running order, cast and wardrobe notes per setup. This is the sheet a producer holds on the day. Contact numbers are not on this version and are circulated to the crew directly.
Shot list and schedule, in Excel
Eleven tabs: the direction, the board day by day, the full shot list, the room protocol and prep checklist, talent and crew, the pick-up bank, the open items and the call sheet. Sortable and filterable, for anyone who would rather work in a spreadsheet.
The short version.
